Es un plato típico de Puerto Rico y República Dominicana hecho de plátano frito y majado. Al majarlo se le añade chicharrón de cerdo, ajo y un poco de aceite de oliva. Se maja formando una consistencia ni muy blanda ni muy dura para que pueda tomar forma de media esfera o de recipiente para rellenarlo de carne de cerdo, mariscos o pollo. Se suele vender en restaurantes o lugares de comida rápida.
